Q:  Can you tell me about your service?
A: 
When cleaning your home, we provide two team members for every cleaning who use only eco-friendly, recyclable cleaning supplies that are never tested on animals. Our products are safe for you, your family, your pets, our team members and the planet we all share. If it is an office, our staff only uses non-toxic products to create a healthier working environment.


Q: What makes your services different from any other cleaning service?
A:
 Our Regular cleaning is more thorough than that of other cleaning services. We provide all supplies and equipment needed to clean your home. You don't have to worry about getting materials the day before. We have it covered. In addition there is no cross-contamination from home to home. We use clean materials for each and every cleaning. Unlike other cleaning services, our cleaners will always clean exposed baseboards, reachable corners, the top of the shower, moveable furniture and will move objects on a counter in order to clean underneath them — not just around them. 

Q: What does a Regular green cleaning include?
A:
 A Regular green cleaning includes a thorough cleaning of all surfaces including, floors, counters, exposed baseboards, all mirrors, all furniture, cobwebs, outside of all appliances, inside of the microwave, and we even empty and refresh your kitty's litter pan. It's our way of making sure everyone enjoys the feeling of a clean home. A Regular green cleaning also includes cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and bathroom. We also give a token of our appreciation for choosing Eco-Clean Maid Service — a small eco-friendly product left for each client after each cleaning.

Q: What supplies do I need?
A:
 We are equipped with our own eco-friendly green cleaning supplies and equipment. You don't have to worry about providing any supplies or equipment.  If you do prefer to use your own, that is fine, simply let us know prior to arrival.

Q: We have pets, is that okay?
A: 
Absolutely. We enjoy them and are used to working around them. If your pets are a bit skittish with new people, it may be best to keep them in an enclosed area until he/she gets used to the team members. Please remember that extra time is needed to remove pet hair.

Q: Do you have insurance?
A:
 For your protection, we are licensed, bonded, and insured.

Q: Do you screen your employees?
A:
 Eco-Clean Maid Service does perform background checks on applicants. Each green maid is thoroughly trained prior to sending out for service.

Q: Am I liable for worker's compensation, insurance and/or payroll taxes?
A:
  Most homeowner's are not aware of his/her personal liability regarding work related injuries or social security taxes for independent home-service workers. Eco-Clean Maid Service is not a referral service and each individual is an employee of Eco-Clean Maid Service, therefore, Eco-Clean Maid Service takes care of all this so there is no need to worry. 


Q: Can I have the same green maids if I use your service on a regular basis?
A: 
As long as you book on a regular day and time we can usually send the same green maid team to your home. Please be advised that if a team member is sick we may have to substitute him/her with another team member. 

Q: Do I need to be home when the team arrives to clean?
A:
 Most of our clients are not home when we clean but we encourage our client's to be there to meet the green maid team members on the first cleaning and point out any areas of concern. Some clients let us in before they leave for work and show us how to let ourselves out.

Q: What type of products do you use?
A: Some products used during our services are proprietary and others include: Ecover, Naturally It's Clean, BioKleen, and Mrs. Myers. We also use vinegar, baking soda, Sal Suds, it just depends on what the job requires. Proprietary products are plant or vegetable derived.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Although we are aware that unforeseen circumstances arise, we ask you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.  We charge a $25 cancellation fee for all appointments canceled after this 24-hour window.

Q: Should I tip my green maid?
A:
 Our green teams are not expecting gratuities but greatly appreciate them should you choose to do so.

Q: What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?
A: If you are not completely satisfied with your cleaning, let us know within 24 hours of service and we will make arrangements to re-clean the area which you are dissatisfied.

Q: What form of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard & Discover.
